The above two images are more indulgent and are a personal reflection. Whilst a student at Bretton Hall Campus, University Leeds, I spent time reading & sketching, on a bench in a favourite suntrap by the Camellia House. This is the seat and window to the Camellia House. I loved the natural patterns made by the frost on the window, plus reflection and the little birds prints. I love trees, especially winter trees as they can show off their true form!

On Sunday 3rd December, whilst on a visit to The Yorkshire Sculpture Park I experienced by very first Snow Angel. What Heaven!!

Due to technical difficulties I am unable to upload further images film which accompanies the Batley Residency. May be at a much later date. I worked collaboratively with Artist friends and colleague to develop my initial movement and mark-making. The initial idea on movement / dance and mark-making I had years ago when a student at Bretton Hall. I do believe that everything does have it's own gestation period. I am so very excited to be making manifest my ideas now. I was very fortunate to have studied separately and simultaneously, Textiles and Dance. The disciplines of Art & of Dance are equal in passion as modes of self expression.
